Can We Help?

IT EXPERTSAbout Us

Does your current provider truly understand all aspects of your IT infrastructure? From the cleanliness and resiliency of the power feeding it, the adequacy of the cooling, the data cabling – through to the physical servers and networking security devices and their proper programming, internet connectivity, all the way up to the end user’s desktop? Or are they faking it in some of these critical areas? We are not.

IT is a deep field and there are for sure areas where specialists must be engaged. But your core IT provider needs to fully understand the purpose, design considerations and implications across the board in order to effectively cover you for adequacy in day to day operations, backup and recovery, resiliency to power and internet interruption. And with this understanding then comes restraint and budgetary consideration. The right system for you balances all of these things and more. This is where we shine.

Do you really want to be in the middle of an array of external IT providers that are not connected, and rely on you to distribute technical updates and instructions hoping everything will play nice? We realised a long time ago that a valuable key competency for us is to specialise in tying together the myriad of hardware and software and respective vendors and managing the technical communication between those providers and the business that requires them. Acting as a technical liaison allows us to prevent double spending on your part, prevent major delays during the roll-out and integration of new systems and alleviate the finger-pointing that comes with multiple suppliers having to integrate with your IT systems.

OUR TEAMYour IT Team

ComputerTalk are a small company of IT experts – working as an IT department to many medium and small businesses across Melbourne, mostly in the outer south-eastern suburbs.

To our clients, we are a supplier, a maintainer, an advocate, liaison, and trusted advisor. We build, develop and maintain their critical IT systems and support their staff. We help them navigate deals with external line-of-business software suppliers and provide the foundation for those business systems to run reliably and smoothly.

We think more deeply than much of our competition, understanding in detail the interactions between all components of a successful IT network.

We draw on the broad experience of our team, and our close subcontractors to meet varying functionality needs and cost constraints.
